It happened to me! I was selling a CD-ROM online and couldn't get any sales. I started to write a letter to a professional marketer, describing what I did. In my letter I wrote that I had tested the product. People who used the demo liked it. The CD was priced reasonably. So why couldn't I get any sales?
I included my website address with the letter and asked him if he would take a look. After writing the letter, I reread it as if I were the recipient. I formulated a reply.
After reviewing your site, I found eight problems:
Replying to my own letter helped me see a lot of errors that I had never noticed before. You can always seek the help of others, but the purpose of this exercise is to get your mind working. Asking the right questions is a valuable tool, available at any time.
You have the ability to solve many of your own problems. You just have to learn to ask the right questions. You will be surprised at the results!
