Larry Page - Discover How He Helped Turn Google Into the Biggest Search Engine on the Web

Larry Page is the co-founder and current President of products at Google, Inc., one of the most successful technology enterprises in the world.

Along with co-founder Sergy Brin, he helped the company establish itself as the search engine of choice among internet users worldwide and continues to develop innovative and far-reaching products under the Google brand.

As the company's first CEO, he helped grow the business into the billion dollar enterprise it is today.

Larry Page - The Super Information MY-Way

Larry Page probably didn't know that he would grow up to be a billionaire player in the technology world but his thirst for computers, which began as early as age six, certainly helped him move in that direction.

Larry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, graduating with honors from Michigan University. He met Google co-founder Sergy Brin while in the Ph.D. program in computer science at Stanford University. They began Google in 1998 and the company quickly became one of the fastest growing internet start-ups of the decade.

Page, along with co-founder Sergy Brin, insisted the search engine's interface be clean and the site be easy to use, and these universally appealing factors were major determiners in Google's success. As founding CEO he molded the company from a rag-tag team of techno- buffs into a robust workforce of some 200 employees.

In April 2001 he became President of Products with the company and regularly meets with Sergy Brin, who is now President of Technology, to discuss new products and strategies for the business. Page's net worth is estimated to be around $12.8 billion.
