You should also invest in plenty of boxes of different shapes and sizes to sell your candy in.  Most candy will also be found wrapped in wax paper to help preserve it.  If you are selling things like lollipops, you will want bags to wrap them in along with twist ties to seal them off.

Hours of Operation:

You will want to make sure that you spend enough time making the candy to perfection, but you can set your own hours. 

If you are a candy making business that takes orders, however, you will want to have a business number which is open during normal business hours, from 9AM through 5PM or so. 

Additionally, if you are going to stores to have them sell your candy, you will want to visit them on a regular schedule.

Minimum Number of People required to Operate A Candy making business:
One person is all that you need to run a successful candy making business.  This will allow you to make the candy to perfection following your own recipes. 

Unless you start to really take off, you can handle all of the packaging, shipping, and delivering yourself.
