The Post-It Notes Have to Go - Get Some Great Time Management Software!

Okay, I'm guilty. I have a ton of post-it notes all over my desk, my computer, my monitor, and last but not least, my forehead.
The good news is that, there is some great time management software out there, that doesn't make you a slave to a clock.
You do have a life and whatever time management system you choose must reflect your lifestyle and the "quirks of nature." Suppose
you were late for work because of a major snowstorm. Does your time
management software tells you that you're behind? You already knew
that, and being reminded of it by a computer is more stressful than
useful.
Let's face it: some people can just "go with the
flow" and get things done. Others need reminding to get with the
program and more reminding to stay there. Hence we have time management
software.
Time Management Software Makes Life Easier
Time management software works like your coffee pot: you set it and
forget it, and coffee is brewed when you get up in the morning. Nice,
isn't it?
When you think of time management software, look
at it the same way: as a reminder. Everyone gets caught up in day to
day goings-on, but time management software can "beep" and remind you
to get back on track with something that was or is a priority.
How many times have you asked yourself, "Where did my day go? I didn't get this or that done..."
A good time management software package can be your best friend by making sure your goals don't get lost in the shuffle.
Choose Time Management Software That Works With You, Not Against You
Time
management software comes in a variety of flavors. Remember those old
desk calendars you wrote all over? For most people, they didn't work as
much besides a huge coaster for coffee stains.
You need to
find a package that works with you and your personality. You should be
able to plug in "I'm really 'UP' at 2 a.m." and set your priorities.
The software will go with the flow without being a dictator.
There is no point in having software that you'll ignore. This means
that if you have a software package that is too strict for you to
follow, it has to go. Your software needs to be your friend and assistant. You employ it—it doesn't employ you.
