Are You Sending Out Your Messages In HTML
You may be sending out your message in HTML which may be more attractive, but some people won't be able to read it.
For example:
1. Their e-mail program may be set to text so they can't read HTML properly.
2. If you have a lot of graphics it might take too long to load the message and the reader becomes frustrated and deletes it.
Only use HTML if you are sure that your audience is targeted for it. For example, if you're running a fan club for a well known recording artist. People on the list will likely be pleased with the added graphics, bells and whistles that HTML provides.
Or you may send out HTML messages to those that request it. You can have two versions of your letter: one in HTML and one in standard text format.
Another alternative still, is to have a text version with a link to an online HTML version.
