ClipGuru is a clipboard assistant and clipboard enhancer. It is designed for users who would like to enhance and maximize the standard clipboard that goes with the Windows system.
ClipGuru equips you with the capability to recall and re-use present and even past clipboard contents. You also have the option to save those contents in your very own Clip Sites for the future. You can recall all contents saved anytime you wish.
It runs in the background and does not have an affect whatsoever with your Windows Clipboard. It merely generates a copy of the contents copied to your clipboard and then saves it automatically.
Because of ClipGuru's popularity, they makers have now released a ClipGuru v.2 in beta. This simply means that the new version has the features of the older version but with loads of new features added as well. However, as the ClipGuru is still in beta testing, it is not fully devoid of bugs.
ClipGuru v.2 - Winning Features
Along with the standard features above, below is a list of the features that can be found in the ClipGuru v.2.
1. The ClipGuru v.2 has 2 options for combining several clips into one clip.
a. Combine Captures. Upon selecting the option, it combines succeeding text captures into one clip. You can determine one clip from the next with a mark that separates them. A yellow background is used when the option is in operation and it does not turn off automatically.
b. Combine Selected. Upon selecting the option, it combines “selected” clips from your list of clips into a new and single text clip. It also maintains the original selected clips.
2. ClipGuru v.2 further organizes your clips by storing your clips in a database in which they are stored systematically, i.e., in the sequence that they were selected and captured. An Add/Remove for sequence numbers is also offered in the case that you would like to Add/Remove sequence numbers of your clips.
3. The ClipGuru v.2 also has a “List Paste” feature that allows you to paste a succession of clips orderly by a series of paste operations. It is generally useful for filling out forms that are repetitive.
Along with the features above, ClipGuru v.2 also has Additional Information Display,which shows details not normally known about a clip. On the other hand, the Reverse Case feature is a quick remedy whenever you type sentences in the wrong case (upper or lower case).
