The first time I heard about the The Rich Jerk, I wondered who on Earth will buy this 'obnoxious' eBook. Furthermore, isn't there enough eBooks about affiliate marketing already? However, it is the author's unique ability to get under your skin (by being obnoxious) that has made the book a genuine success. In fact, one Rich Jerk book review I came across the Internet even states that 'for the [author's] unique sales letter alone, I would have bought the eBook'.
Indeed, the author's style may be arrogant and annoying but it DOES get your attention doesn't it? So what about the contents then? Does it live up to the claims of TheRichJerk?
The Rich Jerk - Not for the Faint of Heart
First of all, the Rich Jerk eBook is NOT for beginners so if you have absolutely no clues about affiliate marketing or Internet marketing then this eBook is not for you. The eBook starts by delving into the 'secrets' of establishing an affiliate website already so it assumes that you already have a site engaged in affiliate marketing.
The secrets are the author's tried and tested techniques of course and so are 'guaranteed to make you money'. The end of the eBook gives some valuable tips for beginners but trust me, it can be dizzying if you don't have any idea of what affiliate marketing is all about.
The next chapter is about pay per click (PPC) strategies using Google AdSense and AdWords. Again, no basics here, the author gets right into the tips on how to profit more from PPCs. Search engine optimization (SEO) is next and here I find the author really just glossing over the details. He really just gives you tips here and there and for a beginner the information is simply not enough. Unfortunately, for a seasoned SEO expert... nothing new there either.
The succeeding chapter goes into selling your own affiliate product on the Internet and this is where most of the author's tips come together as you can use all the information and tips he has been imparting since Chapter 1 into your own affiliate product. This is the part where you begin to really appreciate TheRichJerk eBook because it guides you in what you should do with your affiliate site.
The RichJerk also contains chapters on buying and selling on eBay and other online ventures but the information is minimal. He does, however, give links to other resources for more information should you care to get into these other online businesses.
So, all in all, is TheRichJerk worth buying? YES. All throughout the eBook, no matter how irritating or obnoxious the author sounds, one thing comes though loud and clear - he KNOWS what he is talking about. Furthermore, when it comes to affiliate marketing, it really only takes ONE thing sometimes to start seeing your revenues growing again. In this regard, TheRichJerk does not fail because it DOES provide a lot of tips and tricks and valuable resources you can use for your Internet marketing efforts.
